You would have to go back to around this time last year to when the BBC first announced that it would be producing an iPlayer app for the iPhone, but now it seems that the time could be right, because according to some sources the BBC will be announcing the apps launch this month!
The iPlayer has been a massive success for the BBC, with record viewing figures being recorded almost month after month.
But an iPlayer app for the iPhone would take this catch up television service to another level and is almost guaranteed to be a success, we await the news of the February launch to see exactly how the BBC are going to roll this app out.
