Gaming on the iPhone has been somewhat limited to almost retro style games and although these are appealing at first, there comes a point where waiting in the car to pick your wife up, moves from gaming to tweeting or surfing.
This is issue is being addressed by Epic Games and in particular a new game called “Infinity Blade” this is a fighting game that uses the mobile version of the Unreal Engine, as the game is not currently available there is an iPhone app at the App Store, that shows the sort of graphics you can expect to see.
According to Epic this game will free of charge and issued in short parts, similar to that way that Angry Birds has developed, it is hoped that the game will be ready by the end of the year.
