Can you just imagine what it must feel like to lose your iPhone! I think I would feel like a large part of life had been ripped out from under me. However, this is an app that could mean losing your phone is not such a disaster.
The only downside with this app it that you need a “Mobile Me” subscription in order for this to work, but once operational if the iPhone is lost then you will be able to locate it on a map, play the volume for two minutes on high, lock the phone or clear the phone of all your data.

Sign in with your member name and password (MobileMe subscription required) to locate your missing device on a map and have it display a message or play a sound. You can even remotely lock the device to protect your privacy, or wipe it to permanently delete all of your data if you think that it won’t be returned.
